Pietermaritzburg is in for a treat as the very best of Joburg comedy descends on Golden Horse on the 27^th of April for a celebration of all things funny.

A stalwart of the comedy scene, Darren Maule plays host to this motley crew of gag merchants. He is sure to tickle your funny bone with his musing on life as a Joburger who’s settled at the coast. His dry, wickedly sharp sense of humour and quick wit has made him one of SA’s most popular comedians.

Fast rising star, Mojak Lehoko, is one of the most in-demand comics of the new comic generation.  His comedy is regarded as observational and spontaneous with a knack for identifying the humour in even the most “dire” of circumstances.  His ability to adapt to diverse audiences has allowed him to perform at comedy clubs all over South Africa.

Comedy heavyweight, Jason Goliath, is the evening headliner.  With a commanding stage presence, ridiculous amounts of energy and a character-based set focused on making audiences laugh at life’s uncomfortable truths, Jason is sure to leave audiences in fits of laughter. It’s such rare treat to witness this titan of SA comedy perform in an intimate space, so don’t miss out.
